WINE
INFORMATION
Barrile is an IGT (Geographical Indication) red wine - typical of the Isola dei Nuraghi. It is a wine with pronounced sensory characteristics, obtained from the skillful blending of Nieddera grapes (approx. 85%) with other native varieties, including Caddiu, an extremely lively and aromatic variety. Barrile ages in first- and second-passage barriques for 10-12 months, and then matures in bottles for at least 6 months. Its aroma is intense and fragrant, and the taste is full-bodied, smooth and slightly tannic, with spicy wood notes. It goes well with hearty roasts, game, and full-flavored, tangy cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 16-18 °C.
