INFORMATION
The label of this limited edition wine is the work of the artist, Francesca Ballarini. The image depicts a woman, seen as the earth, who embraces, guards and protects. Majga’s best grapes are harvested by hand and brought directly into the winery where a second selection takes place. Soft pressing of the bunches of grapes, followed by fermentation of the must with selected yeasts and then, malolactic fermentation. Followed by a short aging period, frequent batonnage in steel vats, whilst maintaining contact with the yeast until bottling. Ample room for development. Intense straw yellow in color and intensely perfumed with hints of syrupy fruit and distinct citrus notes, Majga’s unfiltered Vermentino has a soft, full, enveloping flavor with good acidity. Majga is perfect drunk with aged cheeses. We recommend that you try it with main fish dishes, as well as grilled meat and meat skewers.
