The Tomahawk steak, also known as the giant steak, is a cut from the front part of the beef loin. The main characteristic of the Tomahawk steal is its juicy and intense flavor blended with a persistent aroma, highly prized by meat lovers. The giant steak, shaped like a tomahawk (hence its name) has the meat attached to a large bone that releases a unique, intense flavor and makes quite a dramatic impact when brought to the table.
Information about the meat
Yoshi is Poddesu’s selection of finest young heifers, older heifers and cows, especially Masuria beef from the Plusky herd, and Bavarian Simmental. Yoshi meat is perfectly mature with good fat infiltration and an excellent combination of tenderness and juiciness. Yoshi is a selection made at our cattle farms with characteristics and standards that make it unmistakable. The good fat content (MBS 5-7) gives the meat pleasant sweet notes
Tips for preserving meat
We recommend taking the meat out of the fridge at least 5-10 minutes before cooking to avoid thermal shock that could make the fibers tough
